Mushroom Meringues

BERJAYA
cookie exchange

My sister who lives in California sent me a photo of some cookies from one of her cookie exchange parties. I thought those mushroom meringue cookies that someone made were so neat, can you see them in the photo above? Some people really outdo themselves!

Paint Party Friday - Moon and Sunrise and Cinnamon Roll Cookies

BERJAYA

Here is my Paint Party Friday piece called 'Moon and Sunrise', an ACEO (2 1/2" x 3 1/2") in permanent marker. I was driving eastward yesterday, it was a cloudy morning at about 9 am, when I noticed the moon peeking behind the sunrise.

Peanut butter cookies

BERJAYA

Daughter L made these lovely peanut butter cookies for a cookie exchange she was invited to. They smelled so good. Apparently the cookies bake evenly when they are all the same size, who knew.  I am not really a baker.

Cookie Exchange

BERJAYA

These are the cookies daughter L brought home from a cookie exchange party she participated in, my favourite were the butterscotch shortbread.  There were lemon twists, red velvet, oatmeal, snowballs and mint chocolate ones.  I had cookies for breakfast the next day as I wanted to taste them all.

Chocolate chip brownie cookies

Daughter L made these chocolate chip brownie cookies sprinkled with sea salt and sugar last weekend for a cookie exchange party that she was attending. She made these using a pack of brownie mix and added some flour and chocolate chips. I like her creative topping!

BERJAYA

Here's a batch she made just for us, it was chewy and delicious:
