So, I basically have the saddest news ever.
This really only regards the first session LITs from last summer who know us, but whatever.

Because our school is DUMB and doesn't get out until, like June 15th, and SIT starts June 11th... we have to do LIT again. While all you guys go do SIT. :(. *sadness*

So, if anyone is doing LIT... please let us know!

halloween camp is this month.... Lits and SIts will not be there.... well not as staff at least..... it is sort of weird Sits not being there.... hrmm.... well i hope it goes good for everyone there.

so nigel and katie left on monday it really makes me sad guys! i did nto get to say bye to katie it makes me sad!! im never going to see her again :( well unless my dad lwets me go to enlgand for spring break and that will so not happen :( well i love you all!

So the last closing campfire of summer 2005 was last night. It was def a short one but boy was it a touching one especially maddies goodbye speech that had me bawling!! ANd I told you it would maddie. Im going to miss you being there. It was great to hang out with the staff and to hang out with the LITS last night thank you all for letting me hang with you guys!

Hm, I suppose I shall start off with an introduction. Those of you who know me, feel free to skip- those who don't.. uhm read it I guess? Anyways... my name is Alyssa Chrisman, nicknamed Mini Ellen by PJ because supposedly I resemble her. I only actually met her once, a REALLY long time ago- so I don't know. Uhm, I've been going to camp for either 5 or 6 years, this summer I was an LIT (first session). I'm 15, going into 9th grade, blahblah...

My most vivid memories of camp would have to be the closing campfires. They're always so sad... it's slightly disappointing that they are MUCH shorter this year, but whatev. I remember the closing campfire for LIT best.. most likely because it was most recent. It was great =D. We were supposed to sing 'Linger', but these other girls did so we sang Pass It On... very poorly. I wish they had done the "If I was an LIT" song. I remember Rachel and Danny playing "Good Riddance (Time of your Life)" on their guitars as the last song, and now that I listen to- no other song could have been more appropriate. That's all for now, I'll probably be posting often- I miss camp so much. Sorry for getting sappy on you guys ^.^

Acutally we were all still campers when we did this, but we had to pull one last prank! we also locked all your doors, and put a picnic table against your doors, we also put all your bedding in main field too.. i thought it was a good one! ha xo

So, what's been going down at CCG this week?

Me:
Hey,
It my first day off as an SIT. IT has been crazy. Last week was Olympic themed it was fun! The week before that was western but I was not really there because I was white water rafting with the SITs :)
I LOVE MY SPLIT PERSONALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I am really sleepy and I still got some more things to do. Ttyl

Roffle, that's right... I less than 3 my split personality as well... and I'm on my night off. It's been a long week already and it's Monday - but it's been decent. :) Woot. I think we are having like a Hawaiian week type thing with swimming and pirate’s maybe? Not sure?!?! Who ever know?!?!

Maddie :
A True Camp Counselor
*Loves kids and loves to act like one...
*Doesn't like wearing shoes, except for flip-flops when they have to...
*Stays up way past midnight, when they should really be in bed before ten...
*Pranks whmever they can, whenever they can...
*Thinks that fast food is "real" food...
*Wears boy shorts, no matter their sex...
*Never goes anywhere without sunnies on their head...
*Is a display of hemp, friendship braclets, and silver jewelry...
*Raises random things up the flagpole at every given opportunity...
*Has been on top of the dinning hall roof...
*Thinks of their co-workers as family, rather than just friends...
*Has or wants a lot of piercings and tatoos...
*Has broken at least one rule that would get them fired if they had been caught...
*Has flip-flop tan lines on their feet...
*Doesn't wear make-up unless it's their night off (with exception of certain men during Miss CCG)...
*Likes to laugh and make others laugh...
*Knows the words and tune every grace imaginable...
*Knows the Pickle Story by heart (as told by Jon Taylor) and could tell it forward and backward...
*Doesn't care about money...
*Carries their cell phone around for "safety reasons"
*Has lost a camper for at least five minutes...
*Has had a crush, fling, or relationship on/with a foreigner at some point (it's all about those accents!)...
*Is an expert at putting on the happy face, even when they're having the worst day of their life...
*Knows when to act like an adult (but doesn't always have the ability to do
so)...
*Wears bugspray like it's perfume...
*Doesn't care how silly they look...
*Can go from the deepest sleep to being wide awake in a matter of seconds (and vice versa)...
*Can make anything innocent into something dirty...
*Has pranked someone on Nature Night...
*Cries at the last closing campfire of the summer...
*Knows the lyrics to "Pass it on"
*Makes up code words for everything that isn't "camp appropriate"
