Seeking Judges for the CWA Communication Contest

Come celebrate the amazing world of felines with your community of cat professionals! We’re excited to welcome you to the 32nd CWA Annual Conference, taking place near the Dallas-Fort Worth airport this November 6–7, 2026.
This year’s event features two specialized workshop tracks—one for writers and content creators, and another for cat rescue professionals—so you can focus on what matters most to you. Join us for two full days of workshops plus a Friday Fun Night and, on Saturday night, the Awards Banquet and Ceremony. Catch up with friends, make new connections, gain fresh insights, and leave feeling inspired!
Call for Speakers - CWA Annual Conference, November 6-7, 2026
We are seeking workshop presenters for the CWA Annual Conference on topics related to writing (journalism, fiction craft, etc.), other creative endeavors (art, photography, etc.), social media/marketing, and more. Interactive sessions with audience activities are encouraged! We also seek rescue and/or shelter topics for our Rescue Track. Please send a one- to two-paragraph proposal and a paragraph about why you are the person to speak on that subject to Conference Chair Andrea Dorn at Conference@catwriters.com. Deadline: July 15, 2026
