carodeeSo it's June 1st and the Merry Month of Masturbation is over. I didn't finish the Pros piece so it's tucked away for later where I will probably stare at it in May 2012.
My fannish priority this month is the meta portion of my TS Big Bang. I promised myself to finish it early so I'd have enough time to sweat over the fic portion to reach my word count. So... commitment yay.
I was surfing around last night and I ran into some old meta on John Sheppard (and Joe Flanigan's acting). It was a lot of fun to read and got me in the mood for writing about Jim. Jim was so weird and dysfunctional in that episode that it's a real pleasure to tease his psyche apart. *rubs hands gleefully*
Secondary priorities are the kink meme (a couple fills and some ongoing pimping) and maybe finish a fic for My Mongoose if it turns out the deadline is doable. I really want the kink meme to take off but I know that a) it'll take some cheerleading and b) it has to catch folks' interest on its own merits. We had a great opening, but then I got distracted this past weekend. I'll have to see if I can't ramp up some energy for next weekend.
