Heya kids. Corpse Bride is out on video n' dvd on the 31st. I'll be nabbin' it for sure. I'm hopin' there'll be plenty of 'making of' goods on it. Anybody know if theres gonna be one of those 'special edition' versions though? I haven't heard of one, just figured i'd ask.

Hello fans I have a couple announcements.
1. It has been brought to my attention that I should also includ James and the Giant Peach for disscussion.
2. I was searching the web when I found something called "Nine" and Tim Burton will be involved. So lets all hope that is a claymation movie.
Also, if anyone has any lj layouts they would like to contribute, please e-mail it to me.
That is all

Hey there! Has anyone picked up the "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride: An Invaitation to the Wedding"? Its a sweet-ass 'making of' book. I don't know how long its been out, but i saw and bought it a couple days ago at Borders. Its got'st tons of pretty pictures from the movie, producton art and lots of reading. Concept art! Though i haven't had the chance to read to in depth into it yet (i'v been working) But its really awesome! I'd really recomend it! Mainly 'cause i'm a amimation person! Go me! And it has as lil' illustrated story at the end of the book. One other cool tidbit is a piece of concept art of the Ball n' Socket pub scene and Jack Skellington is over sittin' at the bar! Very cool. 'Cause i was kinda disapointed that he didn't make some kinda cameo in the movie (like he did in James and the Giant Peach) Oh well, no worries. Later kids...

Here's a very cool icon I found :)

I just love the music in Nightmare Before Christmas. It's so much fun to sing along to. I got the soundtrack a while back, and it's all nostalgic. Weeeee.

You know what I'm sick of? This new "trend" with TNBC. Because I was there when the movie came out and I loved it from the start. Me and my siblings would memorize all the lyrics and sing them aloud. But now its the new goth thing, and everyone loves it. I mean, you can't go 5 feet into Hot Topic without running into something that has to do with the movie.
Sorry, just needed to rant. If this isnt allowed, sue me.

Animation! That what i like! For it is my major! And what better than though Burtan stop motion animation films like The Nightmare Before Chistmas, James and the Giant Peach (sorta), Vincent, and Corpse Bride! I saw Corpse Bride opening day and that movie was spectacular! As if the super spiffy animation wasn't enough so was the move itself. Mainly the 'Remains of the Day" scene. I'm nuts about skeletons (since i was a lil' kid) and iv'e always thought of them as cute and friendly not mean n' scary. I'm weird. Lucky for you i'm not one of the those crazed Burtan/TNBC obsessers. Go me. Some arts i've done: http://www.deviantart.com/view/24138712/ http://www.deviantart.com/view/24404987/ I also have a nice Bonejangles on i'm working on, but its not quite done yet.
