I've just started this community called

imaginarybitch, which centers around "Imaginary Bitches", a new webseries about a single girl named Eden, who realizes that she's lost all her friends to "couple-hood" and they have trouble relating to her now. Eden decides to take matters into her own hands by making up some imaginary friends to talk to. But, it turns out, they're really bitchy.

It's hard to believe it's only twenty-three days until The Great Boston Burlesque Exposition (www.Burlesque-Expo.com)! We're very excited to see you all in Boston -- and we hope you're excited too! We've got all kinds of things going on, media appearances and kick-off events. We hope you can join us -- if not in person, than on the air!

Monday, Jan. 29 at 4 p.m. (Eastern time) Scratch and a bevy of burlesquers will appear in a one-hour special on everything burlesque: the modern burlesque scene, burlesque history (in Boston and beyond), The Great Boston Burlesque Exposition, and more. We'll be listening to a couple of cuts off of Make Some Noise: The Soundtrack to The Great Boston Burlesque Exposition, and – if we're lucky – even talking to a few of the musicians.

The show will air from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on WSCA radio, 106.1 FM out of Portsmouth, NH and stream live at http://mail.wscafm.org/_/

Monday, Feb. 5th at 7pm Boffo Box Office – Dancing girls! Desserts! Film noir! Who could ask for more? Boffo Box Office gives you more! We start the evening with Boston historian David Kruh and a lecture and slide show on The Old Howard, Boston's most significant burlesque hall. Following the lecture is a screening of Lady of Burlesque, starring Barbara Stanwyck. The film was based on the novel The G-String Murders by Gypsy Rose Lee, possibly the most famous 'lady of burlesque'. After the credits roll, The Boston Babydolls take the stage to give you a little taste of heaven, right in Brookline. If your sweet tooth isn't satisfied by burlesque dance, the party moves around the corner to Finale (1306 Beacon Street) for a buffet of tempting treats. hey guys, i know this group is pretty much dead right now -
but i use to watch boston public when it first aired - and they use my old high school - east boston high - for the school building shots and some of the neighborhoods are in east boston.
yup, exciting stuff eh?

LMFAO!!!!...I love your little description of the show....it fits PERFECTLY....i've been having sever bp withdrawal ever since it went off the air...i was fixed for a little bit when they put it on oxygen but hten took it off the air again....so now i just one day hope of owning the series on dvd....but yeah...boston public was, is, and always will be my favorite tv show...i practically worshiped the show...i dont even watch that much tv anymore just cuz the only tv show i really ever looked forward to was bp...but if anyone has any info about if its coming out on dvd or just wanna talk about the show feel free to post a comment

I'm a BP fan from Germany!! The show aired yesterday for the first time and I'm already addicted (and became a Scott/Lauren shipper ^_^).

Hey people, I know this is not really Boston Public related but it's my way of trying to at least keep this community a little bit alive. Anyways Jon Abrahams(Played Zach Fissher on the 3rd season of boston public) is gonna be in the up coming film "House of Wax"
