Frolic and Frills Picnic 2 – The Kodonas Strikes Back



DESCRIPTION:

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to break out your best ouji / kodona / boystyle coords and enjoy a wonderful picnic with your fellow world travellers this summer. This sub-style is rarely brought to the forefront and it’s nice to change things up everyone once and awhile and try new things. So let’s shake things up some!

This is just the theme of the picnic though; you can wear whatever style of Lolita you like! In fact, I highly encourage hime / ouji pairings xD

This is a potluck picnic, please signup in the comments for what you will like to bring. Please don’t forget to bring blankets and parasols, as this is a picnic that is outdoors.

Hey guys!! I'm moving back from Tokyo in a few weeks and I really want to meet up with some Lolitas in my home city! ♥

The thing is, it seems the meet ups tend revolve around food and money, which is difficult for me because I'm allergic to pretty much everything, and I don't have money to drop on fancy places. I know it's party of lolita culture, but I'm more in it for the fashion and the fun =D

Is anyone interested in a meet-up at a museum or in Cambridge for an fashion adventure? Possibly ending at Peet's coffee or another cheap but awesome coffee place ♥

INTERNATIONAL LOLITA DAY!

Join us for Boston Lolita's bi-annual afternoon tea on International Lolita Day! We will be re-visiting one of our favorite places, a restaurant that veritably SCREAMS "lolita!" from basement to rooftop, Upstairs On The Square. Reservations ARE REQUIRED for this meet-up by midnight, the evening of Sunday, November 25th. Reservations made after this time will only be accommodated on a first-come-first-served basis if someone else drops out and abandons their seat.

Boston Lolita Halloween Scavenger Hunt at Copley Place and the Prudential Center

Come and join us on Saturday, October 27th at 1pm at Copley Place for a fantastic scavenger hunt. Dress in your best frills look for all the best things related to Halloween and Lolita. 

Teams will be formed and check lists of items to be hunted for will be given out. The team who is most successful will get some wonderful prizes. 

Copley place is located in the lovely Back Bay area and is accessible by the Orange line, Green line, buses and the commuter rail. Consult www.mbta.comfor more information. We will be meeting near the food court in the Prudential Center!

After the swap meet, we will be enjoying a nice late lunch in the food court.

Remember to bring a digital camera of some sort for the scavenger hunt.

I find forums much better than livejournal, at least for public things. See I'm also into BJDs, and one day I wondered if there were any BJD-boston groups. Well, I found a forum, pretty nicely populated (with 200-something people) and it's a on a forum, for the Boston area, just for BJD discussion and meetups. I was curious if there were any forums for Boston lolis? This, especially on LJ is just SO inactive that it's painful.

If there's already a forum active, I'd love to join. If there's not, I'd gladly make one given there's enough lolitas in the Boston area for one.

Anyone for it?

I was wondering if, not as an official meetup, but if anyone would want to chill/just hang out for a day at the Braintree Mall. It's a nice mall, and according to Googlemaps just 11 minutes away from Boston itself (by car). It has two floors and many nice stores, they had an anime shop but I think they got rid of it..or maybe opened up a new one ; - ; I'm not sure. 

I'm not saying this should be a meetup or anything, I'm just lonely (I don't live in Braintree, I just visit that mall sometimes) because there are no people into the style where I live..And so I have these pretty outfits but never wear them! DX So yeah. I was wondering if anybody (even just one person would be splendid) would like to hang out there with me sometime? I totally understand since nobody really knows me, we can either exchange emails/talk on LiveJournal, and if necessary, I'll give my cellphone number out. Excuse me if I come off as weird, but I'm only 16 and the loneliness is KILLING MEEEE. I should have added some of the girls I saw at AB! But did I noooo.

*ahem* 'scuze me. But yeah. Is anyone interested? As for a date I haven't really decided yet, but assuming everyone lives in/around Boston and just want to chill, let's set up a day! Or two. Or three. MUAHAHA no I'm kidding.
