Are you posting in your own journal so often that it's making people on your friends list upset? Then post here. Stories, poems, quotes, randomness, feel free to rant (hell, you can even post surveys---they are great time-wasters, afterall).
Please be kind and Use Lj-cuts for longer posts. (If you are fuzzy on html, there are programs available for free download that does all the fancy stuff for you! i.e. seamagic)
As tempting as it is to want to post please restrain yourself from over posting, keep it at 3 a day max.
You can advertise your own community(-ies) if you like... the more the merrier and it's not worth my time to delete them. UNLESS: 1) a lot of boring people complain (e.g. "hey moderator! we hate other communities, delete those shameless promotions!"), or 2) if the community advertised is a hateful forum for buttheads* (which would probably lead right back to reason #1).
