I write this whilst on work experience. I use the term 'work experience' loosley as I have sent 6 emails today, which can neither be desribed as work or experience. Aside from gleaming the assistant psychologist for tips on job applications I am gaining very little here, other than those all-important few lines on my CV. Le sigh. So I spend the day writing job applications.
I never wrote a proper japan round up. And now I'm dozy with the heat.
Best things I did in japan:
1. Going to a cat cafe. Like a hostess bar, but the purring lovelies are fluffy kitties! You pay antry for a time slot, feed them, stroke them, play with them....aaah, such innocent fun.
2. Rice balls. Triangular giant sushi. Nom-able.
3. Dressing up as a geisha in Gion. I felt like I was straight into 'memoirs of a geisha'. They did my mamkeup, tied my obi, it was enchanting.
4. House party barbeque thrown by the Tokyo Kink Society. Lots of lovely friendly people, pole dancers and rope work, lots of wine, good times.
5. Goth-clubbing with the dress-up elite of Osaka at Black Veil. They REALLY do dressing up over there.
6. Okinawa - pancakeULTIMATE
7. bullet train, so fast, so comfortable, so clean. What uk transport dreams of being.
8. cycling in Nara. i haven't cycled in years and years since I had a bad cycling accidentnd smashed up my face. Turns out, it's really not that bad. Fun even.
9. Feeding the tame deer in Nara.
10. seeing Kit's adorable cousins
11. Beautiful temples and shrines, the smell of incense, gongs...
12. Second-hand gothic shops, lolita fashions (to look, not buy due to extreme ££)

Oops I forgot to finish this entry. I should just post my photos, they'll say more than my mumbled offerings. I'm at work. On a saturday. That shouldn't be allowed. I wanted to go out to Flamingo's tonight, but it costs £25 drink-all-you-can. For £25 I could have one or two nice bottles of port to myself and end the night unconscious if I wanted to, I'm not paying an upitty gay club to fill me with alchopops. So maybe we'll do club Redeemer instead. I might be getting booked as one of their 'girls'. I'm not sure what exactly I've agreed to do. They asked if I could dance and I said yes. This may have been a mistake.
Jonny is back in hospital. He's been in twice in the last 2 weeks and this is the third. First knee surgery (quite major) followed by two infections, made worse as he's allergic to lots of antibiotics. He's now in the hospital I work in so I can nip over and see him with no fuss.
boredboredboreded of my job. Must have applied for 20 odd jobs this week. Please give me a new job, pleeeease? It's very sunny, I shall have to get my parasol out soon. Yesterday I was filled with such a good, peaceful feeling. The sky was blue, the wind rustled past my arms and I felt like I might step off into the air, take flight. I gave some money to a homeless man and passed my feeling on. Went to catch up with rosie. She's one of my best friends and soon she's leaving Bristol for good, which maeks me sad. It's not been a happy end to her time here, a series of emotional unheaveal, lots of lies behind backs and tears. I don't know if there's anything I can do other than spend time with her, keep her company. I can't fix it, but I wish I could.
Our flat's getting sorted out, it gets nicer all the time. Getting the bookshelves sorted and getting my clothing in. Feels more like home. Ricky and Vicky hug me constantly. Jonny gets a bit anal about them using his pans and being messy in the kitchen. I did a nude fetish photoshoot in the flat a week ago, my flatmates mostly stood my their door, pretending to be doing something, blushing a bit and grinning. It was very silly. But if you can see me naked on the internet, why shouldn't anyone else see me naked too? Well, i'm not sure how far I'd want to take that....more modelling work sorted, going up to darlington in july, then belfast in august (looking forward to that :) ), all good all good. A bit more latex modelling coming up.
Last weekend was a bit of a nightmare, lost my wallet with all my cards and £100 cash in (just been paid), my phone got run over and then jonny went into hospital. I was NOT a happy bunny. I was having trouble with my eating etc too, very tearful. But this week I feel better and everything is ok. Last night I had dinner on a friend's roof terrace, looking out at the rainbow sunset across bristol. It was beautiful.
