Wow, I have not written in my LiveJournal in almost a year...seems like so long ago...Anyway, the past week has quite possibly been one of the most depressing on record. First, terrible sickness of death probably derived from a game of spin-the-bottle on Saturday night...Worth it? Sure, why not? Second, WORK WORK WORK every single day on top of classes...literally one day off in an 11 day span...Third, 4 big tests in two days, one of which I failed terribly and have subsequently dropped the class...Fourth,...my grandmother is dying as I type this. She has had this terrible bout with pneumonia over the last two weeks and has been in intensive care. It has been determined that she is at a terminal stage, and today they unhooked her respirator and all other doohickeys and sedatives and are gonna let things happen naturally. Interestingly enough, today, 9/29, just happens to be her 81st birthday...So anyways, my family had this big party for her today in the ICU, and she was awake and responsive (but can barely speak) and it was just wonderful to actually have some communication with her and actually get to say goodbye. |

If you don't know by now, I work at EB Games in Town Center now. Yes I know it is about 200 feet from the Palmetto Grande, what a move. But ahhhhh the benifits...Halo, Halo 2, Jade Empire, and Forza Motorsport (all brand new) for a coooool 21 dollars. (4 dollars each + 5 dollars S&H).

Went to an old-school Magnet style throwdown last night at Tyler/Eric's place downtown. I got bewilderingly drunk for the first time ever. Really. It was the first time I had ever been drunk. No more "Whoo Hoo! Straight Edge for Life!"...it was ridiculous. I am sooooooooooo disappointed in myself. I'm a chatterbox when I hit the sauce. All of these emotions came pouring out, as well as the contents of my stomach. Alcohol is bad. It's bad news. Baby it's bad news. I don't plane you.

Just got back from the Rilo Kiley show, which I must admit was definitely one of the absolute BEST concerts that I have ever been to. Blake Sennett is the man. He freakin rocks out, even with a ukelele. Jenny Lewis is so beautiful. I want to make babies with her..... I think I'm in love. |

Nine years. Nine years I have waited for the pinnacle of all things good to arrive. The conclusion to the greatest story ever told has dawned upon the world. I am talking about Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. A nerd's surreal wet dream, it is the love stain left on countless LARPing tunics across the globe (LARPing is Live Action Role Playing in case you were not aware, think Dungeons & Dragons). The saga is complete. My own eyes and ears have had the gracious opportunity to feast upon this most sacred and revered cinematic epic not once, not twice, but thrice. That is correct, three times. Being an employee of the Palmetto Grande Cinema, I had the most coveted opportunity to view the feature two times in the last 24 hours before it's theatrical release at employee screenings. Hence I saw it two times prior to the normal nerd population. Therefore I am the superior nerd among a sea of unathletic pale-skinned zit-faced lesser nerds. In classic tradtion though, I joined my nerdy brethren for the midnight showing, and at the stroke of midnight thousands upon thousands all joined in the cosmic orgy that started a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
Words cannot descibe it, you will have to judge based on the tears in my eyes and the love stains in my pants. Oh what the hell...
FREAKIN SWEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!! MAKES EPISODES I AND II IT'S BITCH THEN TELLS THEM TO MAKE IT BREAKFAST.
