Hello everyone! Week 6: Past is now closed. Since there were no entries there's no winner, so I will be announcing the week 7 theme momentarily.

Apologies all around for how absent I've been lately.

Since there have been no submissions for the Week Six Theme: Past, the challenge is being extended. So if you're working on something or just now getting ideas, you have until April 5 to post for this theme. :)

As the (throughly unworthy) victor of the last round, it falls to me to pick the theme for the next challenge, and I have selected: Past. This is an oft-used word with a plethora of meanings. Does it mean someone's history, the sordid details of the childhood and life? Or perhaps it means surpassing someone else, as in a race or competition? The choice is in your hands! Start your writing engines, everybody! You have until March Fifth to submit your entries.

This took a lot of time and thought because this was seriously tied. Two great entries with two totally different takes on the theme. After much thinking, 'tis time to pick the winner. The winner for this week's theme is:
