EARLY VOTING INFORMATION
THERE WILL NOT BE EARLY VOTING FOR THE NOVEMBER 4, 2025 SPECIAL ELECTION
Online Voter Registration website is available and can be found at www.Michigan.gov/Vote by selecting the “Register to Vote” option located on the left panel of the page. The tool can also be reached directly by going to www.Michigan.gov/VoterRegistration. Residents across the state can take advantage of this convenient way of registering to vote. Current voters can easily change their address using this website.
Registering to vote has never been easier and can be accomplished by navigating five easy screens:
To use this convenient website, visitors must currently have a Michigan Driver’s License or Personal Identification Card and qualify to vote in the state of Michigan (i.e., citizen, age, residency).

You can register to vote when you are age 17-1/2. You may register to vote in person, by mail, or online up to 15 days prior to an election. Voters may also register in person at Augusta Charter Township Hall clerk’s office within 14 days of an election, up to and including Election Day. A voter registering in the final 14 days, including Election Day, will need to show proof of residency in addition to proof of identity (or an ID that proves both). NOTE: Only voters registering in the final 14 days must show proof of residency while registering.
Absent voter ballots are available to registered voters for all elections. They provide a convenient method for casting a ballot when a voter is unable to attend the polls on election day. On the application form you can choose to be on the permanent absentee ballot list. For more information, call our Election Manager at 734-461-6117, EXT 202 or visit Washtenaw.org under elections.
