Summary: Leon takes a moment to think about his situation.
A/N: Some details taken from SD Perry’s novelisation of the Resident Evil series.
It hit Leon only an hour into searching the station that things would have been much different if he'd have moved into town a day earlier.
Twenty four hours ago, he would have been some help. He could have helped gather supplies, build barricades, calm people down. People would have seen the uniform and looked to him for help, for guidance.
It was enough to make him want to give up: knowing that each of the living dead that he shot were once people who would have seen him as someone to look to for help. And now all they saw in him was a meal in a RCPD wrapper, just like they'd seen Marvin back in the office...
He shook his head in an attempt to clear his thoughts. Claire was still out there, alone. And if there was just one person out there to protect, he still had a job to do.
