I loved Rugrats as a kid and rewatched way too many episodes for my own good when I was sick and not really fit to do much besides lying in bed and watching old cartoons last week, so this had to happen at one point or another.

Stef says my sketches don't look sketchy enough. (spoilers: she's right.)
So here's a quick upload of something that's definitely not finished or outlined or coloured because I have no time and it's dark and there's only bad or no lighting on the bus when I'm on my way home these days, fml XD

EDIT: Now also in colour. Yay for spending two hours on the urban railway. :P

I love sketchbooks. Like, they take off a lot of pressure because if you do a sketch without references on a shaky tram or on a bus that approximately slams on the brakes five times per ride and with only two crayons at hand, it simply doesn't have to be perfect. There's no need for complicated poses if you don't feel like it when you're just sitting somewhere, waiting for someone. And you put it away so many times and get to look at what you drew hours, days, maybe weeks or months ago from a different "perspective" again that you have to add something new already, and it's always changing.

That's also why I should sketch a lot more, at least when I happen to be in not so crowed public transport.

I would write something coherent about this drawing, but I'm currently at a point where I tend to make nothing but alarmingly tumblr-esque noises when I even think about these two. Also, my mum asked what I was drawing and somehow I doubt that "this canonically gay couple of super heroes (because genetically engineered time traveler from another planet and ex-ex-mutant makes things just a lot more complicated) drinking coffee in the morning because they did't get a lot of sleep last night, if you know what I mean" is an adequate answer. So. Here. These random people from this random comic. Perfectly harmless. adlsdkslekld.

So I went shopping the other day and this is basically all taken out of my (new) wardrobe. Minus the yellow golden curry (I'm so bad with fashion colours) skirt and the green pair of trousers, because holyshit clothes are so expensive. ;__; Originally I just wanted to sketch a bit, but then I decided to add colour to one of the sketches and had way too much fun doing that, and obviously couldn't stop.
There miiight also be a clue about what show I'm currently rewatching somewhere in there. What is my life...
