| College educated chicky with her head in the clouds but her feet on the ground. I like reading anything and everything, up to and including cereal boxes. Go figure. I am a devoted Buffyverse, SGA, and SPN fan and and try to remain active - even if only through reading - in all of them. I'm also a huge music fan. I have very eclectic tastes ranging from Steve Carlson and John Mayer to Gosdmack and Disturbed to Boston, Pink Floyd and CCR. At any given moment, I could be listening to Sir Andrew Loyd Webber, Bach, Skid Row, or Allison Krause. It's just that kind of collection that I have. When I'm not writing, listening to music or watching one of three shows, I'm teaching high school English and/or Social Sciences. That includes planning and discussions, writing out tests and assignments and getting to know my kids, whom I love. Other than that, I hang with my friends, write all kinds of things and listen to everything. If you want to know more about me or what I do or like, just ask, I'll answer any questions. |

I've a relatively short list right now, and I like reading about people. Only one caveat to this: if your journal is strictly for your reading pleasure (ie. you made it so you could read fics) I probably won't friend ya back. I never friends lock my posts. I don't share that kind of private information. Things I won't allow: 1. FLAMING. I can tolerate constructive criticism. And as I have two friggin degrees, I can tell which is which. If I consider it flaming (and I'm pretty liberal with what is and isn't flaming) then it is. Case closed, no debate necessary. You'll be booted, screened, deleted, possibly ejected from my flist too. Don't make me have to do that. I don't like to be ugly. 2. Ad hominem attacks on commenters in my journal. For those of you that don't know what that is: it's personal attacks. ie. name calling, judgemental statements mentioning names and/or LJ handles. If I see this kind of crap, you're outta there.
