i saw the movie 'Anvil! The Story of Anvil' at sxsw (with a bunch of amazing bands... and the guys from anvil came out to do a Q&A!) it comes out april 10 (yay! i was first to see it!!!). it was basically incredible and the real life spinal tap. there's more stuff at anvilmovie.com that clip above is the trailer... which is too good to be true. |

The Tripwire is reporting that the new Verve's album Forth is getting pushed back a week. They say:
"You know that big red circle you have on your desk calendar that marks the street date of The Verve's Forth release? Well, you might want to go and get some white out. The upcoming record just got pushed a week, and will now come out August 26 in the US and Canada, and a day earlier in the UK. The reason? Maybe they want us in suspense, or maybe its because good things come to those who wait. Sigh...I guess we will go back to watching the video for the rest of the day." |
