III. Espousing or reflecting values that are different from those of the establishment or mainstream: an alternative newspaper; alternative fashion. IV. An institution, enterprise, etc. that appeals to unconventional or nontraditional interests.
style(stīl) n. I. The way in which something is said, done, expressed, or performed: a style of speech and writing. II. The combination of distinctive features of literary or artistic expression, execution, or performance characterizing a particular person, group, school, or era. III. A quality of imagination and individuality expressed in one's actions and tastes: does things with style. i. A comfortable and elegant mode of existence: living in style. ii. A mode of living: the style of the very rich. iii. The fashion of the moment, especially of dress; vogue. iv. A particular fashion: the style of the 1920s.

KEEP IN MIND that anything you post MUST pertain to alternative style in SOME way!
