Kris Rusch's web site is back but I am publicly re-posting this anyway and encourage other writers to do the same with a link back to Rusch's site or blog. I'm not a big conspiracy theory person, but I'm sure the attack had everything to do with the subject matter. So I'm gonna do my part to help raise awareness. This is knowledge I will carry with me. I appreciate Rusch's bravery. --Akowe

"Kris Rusch writes a weekly column, The Business Rusch, that if you want to be a professional writer, you should be reading every week. [Last] week, Kris’ web site was hacked after she posted her column. A second site where she posted the column was then hacked. ...I think this column is important enough for people to read and understand what’s going on in the business. And yes, read your contracts. Carefully".

Here is the article by Kris, reposted with permission (she asked that people post to get the word out.)

A Timely Feature from UT Austin's Home Page

For nearly 20 years, Dr. James W. Pennebaker has been giving people an assignment: write down your deepest feelings about an emotional upheaval in your life for 15 or 20 minutes a day for four consecutive days. Many of those who followed his simple instructions have found their immune systems strengthened. Others have seen their grades improved. Sometimes entire lives have changed.
