Hello everyone. As you can guess, I'm a big fan of the horror genre in general. I love horror in movies, books, comics, gaming and art. In fact there isn't much I don't like. I enjoy a wide variety of movies from black and white classics all the way up to the cheesy made for tv movies on Scifi and Chiller. Though my favorites in the genre generally rotate around around vampires, werewolves, and zombies. I also read Rue Morgue magazine to keep up with what's new and interesting in the genre.
Let's see, a little more about me... I guess I'm a typical 30 something stay at home mom. I'm married with one son and living in North Texas. Aside from horror tv I also like to watch crime documentary type shows like they have on the ID channel. Also totally enjoying The Walking Dead right now and looking forward for the next season.
I'm a very artsy and crafty person. I love art. Not only in it's creation but in admiration as well. I'm one of those people who love going to museums to see other's works. As for myself, I'm sort of a jack of all trades and master of none. lol As far as being creative goes I dabble in a good assortment of things. I draw and work in a variety of traditional media. I also do some art journaling, as well as some jewelry crafting with beads and wire wrapping. I also make my own candles too.
For pets, I have a few geckos (but have a general liking for reptiles in general) and two Egyptian Mau cats.
I'm a gamer girl. Naturally I love the horror titles and have a huge soft spot for Resident Evil games. I'm currently playing World of Warcraft... but I'm thinking of retiring from that soon when my sub expires. Other games I'm currently working on is Diablo3 and soon to be Darkness 2 when I have time.
Other than that, all I can really say is check out my profile and journal for additional info and likes. A majority of my posts are friends only but I do make public ones as well. |

It's been a couple months since I've tossed out an add-me post to reel more people into my twisted world. So let's get started, shall we?

About my Journal
Sex and sexuality are easily the most common themes in my journal. My wife and I recently got involved with the swinger lifestyle and it has been a crazy eye-opening adventure. At this point - we are solidly "Swingers". It is a secret exciting aspect to our generally normal comfortable life as a happy, professional, 30 year old couple. And it's something I choose to share with my journal in great detail. These posts tend to be sexually explicit in dialog and image content.
In addition to all of that - I also post about other interests or happenings in my life. I'm a huge fan of horror movies and Halloween (all things spooky and dark, really). I'm also big on video games and tend to spend a lot of my "me time" zoning out into some obscure online world (lately it's been Diablo on my PC). I have a soft spot for music that makes me FEEL something - my favorite bands are Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I'm a married man - so I do talk about marriage and my amazing wife. And I'm a human being - so I do talk about common topics like occupation, health, weight loss, etc.
As far as my writing style is concerned, I tend to be pretty big on storytelling. I like my entires to be visual and engaging. I try to stray away from posting about uneventful day-to-day things. And if I do post about mundane crap, I tend to saturate it with my sense of humor and personality. I use a lot of images in my posts to assist in illustrating key topics in my entries.
I do not post super frequently - I usually only post when I have a good story to tell. My main intention on this website is to write. With me and reading other's journals, it really depends on the journal. There are journals and people that I find fascinating and I make sure to always read and always comment. I'm rather picky about what I read - as I have an overwhelming need to be entertained and interested. That generally means I enjoy journals that are written with the reader in mind - rather than ones written for the author.

I am Squeek.
I am male.
I am lonely on these here interwebs. Especially on my shiny new Livejournal. Daww,
Much like all of you, I am something of a horror hound. A demon devotee. A gore whore. A zombie zealot. A fiend freak. Et cetera. While most other kids that I knew grew up watching Care Bears and the like, whenever I went to the video store, I headed straight to the horror isle. As a result of my indulgent parents, I was pretty much raised on the stuff. Sure, I enjoyed normal cartoons as well, but mmm.... there was just something about that horror isle that kept pulling me back.
So! Let's get down to business. Seeing as you all like horror.... and I like horror..... well, c'mon. Shouldn't we like it together? Heh. That sounds dirty. Anyway, surely there's someone here who wouldn't mind adding a lonesome freakboy. How about some factoids to help you come to a conclusion, yeah?
Well, let's see. I have what's been called a disturbing sense of humour. I love tattoos and do not have nearly enough of them yet. I'm working on that. I love piercings also, however my body seems to disagree. I have long hair, which is green, more often than not. I like patches, pins and stickers and have a collection. Unsurprisingly, Halloween is and always has been, my favourite holiday. I dress up every year without fail. In the time in between, sometimes I go to zombie walks. Speaking of zombies, sometimes I find myself surveying a building to see how defensible it would be in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Is that weird?
I also have a lovely fiance' who puts up with my goofy ass more than you could imagine.
A handful of my favourite movies: Bad Taste, Nightmare on Elm Street, Shaun of The Dead, Edward Scissorhands, Monster Squad, Dead Alive, House of Wax, Fido, Poltergeist, Beetlejuice, Puppet Master, Re-Animator, Troll, Cat Soup, Creepshow, the entire "of The Dead" series, and the entire Evil Dead series as well.
As for music: Nine Inch Nails, Dr. Steel, Tool, Jerk, Rage Against The Machine, Creature Feature, Mindless Self Indulgence, Deftones, Corvus Corax, Rob Zombie, White Zombie, Schaffer The Darklord, The Union Underground, Apocalyptica, Volitaire, Black Light Burns, System of a Down, The Prodigy, Man Man, Snake River Conspiracy, MC Chris, Faun, and far too many others to list.
I also read quite often, and am a pretty big fan of Neil Gaiman's works. I have two tarantulas named Smudge and Abysmal respectively, a cat named Marsh ('cause she's so mellow), a little beagle mix lookin' dog named Bowser, and I am currently rehabilitating a baby bat named Ray Charles.

Now, a disclaimer: I don't post daily. I post when I actually have something to say. And whenever that might be, I put a decent amount of effort into it. You will not find many entries consisting of nothing but "I like cheese". I'm also far from politically correct, and my writings are not usually suited for sensitive viewers.
