A lazy sun-filled day, low-humidity and beautiful rolling blue skies.
I've accomplished a few chores on my "to-do" list this morning, and now I'm ready for a sit-down and a nice cup of tea.

Keep Calm And Carry On
It seems our world as we know it is falling apart.
Last week, a tornado barreled through our town, changing many people's lives.
This week we are facing Coronavirus uncertainties.
I'm going to do my part and follow the CDC recommendations other than that, I'm taking a "Keep Calm and Carry On" approach.
Oliver cat follows the typical "male" outlook.
Tom-Tilly being the female keeps vigil.

Contentment
Sunshine has returned, and the last of the lingering snow is now melting.
I was content to sit and watch the falling snow from a window view.
There were days in my working years, when I wasn't afforded such luxury.
Oliver cat and Tom-Tilly are happy to once again bask in the afternoon sun, their little world as they know it, returned to normal.

Simpler Times
Tropical storm Alberto is leaving it's mark on middle Tennessee, wind, rain and the possibility of those dreaded tornadoes.
I'm crossing my fingers, all will stay calm.
Our sweet little Tom-Tilly, has her wellness checkup with the veterinarian today, she hasn't an inkling, probably best left that way.

Me And My Shadow
Tom-Tilly spends most of her day shadowing Oliver, even when he's sleeping. We are convinced she has imprinted on Oliver as her mother, especially as she was such a tiny little kitten when she first appeared from living beneath my potting shed.
It makes us smile, despite Oliver's lack of reciprocation, he knows he's loved, and allows her to eat from the food bowl first.

Wind
We have a wind advisory out today, blustery and menacing.
Birds were literally flying sideways.
Oliver cat and Tom -Tilly have spent hours chasing swirling leaves, now they are snuggled in their beds, wore out from the day's fun.
My granddaughter came bearing gifts.
Sweet little wool Christmas ornaments, guess who they resemble.....
I couldn't be more tickled.

Thank You
I am truly grateful to each and every one of you, who have left such encouraging and heartfelt well-wishes, they have left a smile on my face day after day.
My days are filled with therapists of all varieties, nurses and caregivers, and a constant flurry of activity, all centered around a common goal of getting me back on my feet.....literally.
The staff have been amazingly attentive.
My poor kitties Oliver and Tom-Tilly have not quite figured out where I disappeared to, and spend their days rallying around my dearest, not letting him out of their sight.
