Welcome, this promotion community is for those who have similar interests as the ones in the interest section below. There are plenty of promo communities for all the other interests out there on lj, but I haven't seen any promo communities specifically for wiccans, psychics, and so on to share with others openly. In fact I read one post where a person trying to promote their community for occultic practices was tossed off the regular promo communities. The rules are simple:
The ground rules: 1. Tolerance - I cannot stress it enough how important it is to tolerate others views. Now tolerance is not the same as acceptance. Hopefully you can agree to disagree if there is an impass. If you cannot and do not practice tolerance, your chances of remaining a memeber are nill.
2. Respect - Yes, again you can have your own beliefs but please do not poop on others beliefs like some untrained puppy. Just shrug if you don't like something and move on to the next topic. Gaining respect is part of giving respect in this community. It is the hope that you will find friendships, kindred souls whom you can interact with and enjoy.
3. Lj cuts - If your have a long ramble please put it in an lj-cut as many people have a long friends list and it can push their friends posts out too quickly. We want to make this community comfortable and easy for it's members. Here is HOW TO LJ-CUT The same is true for images as well. If you have an image you would like to share please put them in an Lj-cut.
4. No Flooding - You can post your community and are welcome to wait until your post no longer appears and then add a new post. Probably the best way to promote your community is do it once a week. This will give everyone time to check out the newly posted communities. So don't make a bunch of posts on the same day over and over about your community.
