    I guess it’s a bit of self-promotion, but it’s kind of sad you couldn’t find a better example for panel 3.

    It’s almost a punchline by itself.

      You mean the guy that Johnston decided to make gay after she realised that she wasn’t fit him into the strip any more, since she couldn’t think of anything else to do with him? Yeah, great, thanks.
