Kat Von D Beauty

My first thought after hearing about Kat von D's intention to create a cosmetic brand was "oh again some celebrity who wants to get more money and fame is creating an own cosmetic brand" but then I was thinking closer: Kat has always had a cool way to use make up, perhaps she would be able to create something which really works. I decided to read people's reviews about the products and they promised fairly much. In Finland it's not possible to buy these products (which is a huge shame) so I had to travel to Sweden to get a closer view of these. Unfortunately I didn't have much time to spend in the store when my beloved was with me and you now: a man in a cosmetic boutique... I tried to act quickly. In the end I ended up picking these two matte lipsticks which are awesome. Most likely the best lipstick I have ever used. I like the matte lipsticks and these are so easy to spread and no liner is needed. In addition they feel good and stay pretty well. It's such annoying that these aren't available in Finland and cannot be order either. Perhaps it's a enough good reason to travel Sweden then ;)

I wasn't able to avoid Victoria Secret's store in the ship. I have at least ten scents in the locker and I always end up getting them more...  but I've used this every day since I got it ;)

Amor Amor

 Summer is coming slowly and to me it means heels! I found these killer heels in Bianco's closeout at a  super low price and only a lunatic would have left the store without taking these. There is a nice platform and the heel is a bit thicker. I've never owned Bianco's shoes before these so I was curious to see whether they are quality or not. By the way it's a shame to see that those stores obviously disappear from the street view. 

 'Crazy days' were held in Stockmann some time ago and even though I hate them due to the crowd and I usually never visit there, but now I popped quickly inside - and that's good. I found a perfume in sales which I was thought to buy. My mom bought me this about ten years ago and then I had a long break with it until now I decided to want it again. I'm really picky as for the scents, but this is adorable. Now I have at least six bottles of scents in the closet and I promise not to buy more. :P (yes though I'm picky I still love them) 

Cherry in the air

This is the final post about my vacation then it's a time to return back to the dead nature of Finland. (I wish you could see my face after returning home when I realized that all trees had dropped the leaves, I was hoping so that the nature is still in the full bloom of autumn but no. But kind of this dead nature is also really beautiful in all its darkness.)

I guess this was Thursday's outfit, second hand shirt and mini skirt. Gladly I can report that I left all my heels home and it was a smart decision. I wouldn't have done anything with them here. 

A picture from our balcony which was taken before the darkness falls. Dark nights with the warm wind were absolutely attractive. Sitting at the balcony while drinking the cold beer and watching how the sun disappeared behind the horizon was the best way to quit the day. 

We had our own pet at the balcony. We also found a small gecko in our room. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera at that moment. 

I swam a lot in the ocean even if I swore beforehand that I'm not going to do that because I hate all dwellers of the sea like fishes. There was also nice water trampolines on our beach so of course I wanted to try them :'D Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because they were situated such a far from the shore that photographing wasn't possible.

Some guys made a great sandcastle to the nearby beach. This can be called a piece of art.

Me walking on the shore. By the way my hair color faded badly again and I'm considering again to change the color back to black. I miss black hair with the bang every another day. Black is so much easier to maintain and it feels more homey. Even if some people claims this red suits me well I definitely think black suits me much better. My own natural shade is dark brown and I have even thought to have it back.

Of course I couldn't avoid doing some shopping so I ended up buying a bottle of Escada's Cherry perfume in Tax Free store. I love Escada's scents, they are a certain choice almost always. In addition I bought a bottle of Aloe Vera skin cream. 

I brought also three small cactus. This time I try to keep them alive. 

Mojo sauce! I recommend to try this if you like spicy food. 

In addition to these I purchased a black lace tunic and a suitcase which I will show you later. 

Love kills slowly

Ensimmäinen viikko kohta takana Englantilaista elämäntapaa eikä vielä ole kulttuurishokki tai Suomi-ikävä yllättänyt. Tavallista kahvia toisin kaipaan ja omaa kahvinkeitintä, sillä täällä ei ole ja kahviloistakin saa aika pitkälti vain erikoiskahveja. Toisin ei Cappucinossakaan valittamista ole, vaikka ei ihan täysin kofeiini tarvettani täytäkkään. Maistoin tänään myös ensimmäistä kertaa lattea, mutta se ehkä oli minun makuuni turhan maitopitoista.

Tänään vietin muutaman tunnin taas kaupungilla shoppailun merkeissä ja tuli käytyä uusissakin kaupoissa ja löydettyä lisää Iron Fistin tuotteita. Vielä ei korkokengät lähteneet matkaani, sillä olen aika vakuuttunut, että löydän ne jostain vielä edullisemmin.



Sen sijaan ostin Debenhamsista aivan uskomattoman hyväntuoksuista hajuvettä ja vieläpä maailman hienoimmassa pakkauksessa: (ostinpa itseasiassa lahjapakkauksen, koska se tuli edullisemmaksi. Mukana tuli ison pullon lisäksi pikkupullo, sekä vartalovoide)

Harmaa Ramones paita lähti myös mukaan Amplified clothngista. Tälläistä olen jo pitkään hamuillut, mutta en ole löytänyt sopivaa. Tässä paidassa on vieläpä ulospäin ommellut saumat ykstyiskohtina.

Huomenna kymmeneksi kouluun ja toivottavasti saadaan kurssivalinnat tehtyä. (ja toivottavasti koulua ei ole joka päivä, jotta aikaa jää myös muulle) Luultavasti huominen iltapäivä tulee taas vietettyä kaupungilla ja tälläkertaa koulutarvikkeita metsästäen.
