Version 1.0 | Effective date: 14 September 2026
About this notice
This Cookie Notice explains how KAI OS TECHNOLOGIES HONG KONG LIMITED (“KaiOS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit the Merchant website. It should be read together with the KAI Merchant Privacy Notice.
The Kai MPoC Application itself does not use cookies. This Notice applies to the Merchant website and does not replace the privacy notice or merchant services agreement provided by your Acquirer.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as pixels or local storage, can perform comparable functions. They help a website operate, remember choices and, where enabled, understand how people use it.
Cookies and similar technologies we use
We use cookies and similar technologies only where needed to provide, secure and improve the website:
- Strictly necessary: required for security, page delivery, the consent tool or a feature you request.
- Preferences: used to remember a setting or consent choice you make.
- Analytics and marketing: not enabled unless you give the required consent. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell personal data.
The consent tool may store a preference so that we can remember your choice. Any non-essential technology will be disclosed in the consent settings before it is enabled.
Managing your choices
You can accept all cookies, allow only essential cookies, decline non-essential cookies or open Cookie Preferences using the controls in the banner. You can revisit those choices at any time through the Cookie settings control. You can also manage cookies in your browser. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect security, forms or other requested functions.
Third-party services
The Merchant website may link to or embed services operated by third parties. Those providers may use their own technologies and privacy notices. This Notice does not apply to their processing. We will identify relevant providers in the consent settings where they set or access information on your device.
Updates and contact
We may update this Notice when the website, its technologies or legal requirements change. Questions about this Notice can be sent to merchant@kaiostech.com.
