Appuyé par son épouse et ses quatre enfants, Marc-André Beauchemin, annonce qu’il sera candidat à la course à la chefferie du Parti vert du Québec. Détenteur d’un baccalauréat en Sciences politiques, il a de l’expérience politique à l’échelle municipale et provinciale ayant été candidat pro-défusion à des postes de conseillers lors de trois élections municipales dans Saint-Lambert, Longueuil et Brossard, puis candidat aux élections provinciales en 2007 et 2008 avec l’ADQ dans la circonscription de La Pinière (Brossard).

Candidat aux dernières élections générales de septembre 2012 avec le Parti vert du Québec, il a collaboré avec d’autres leaders du parti à recruter des candidats et à les aider à faire des plaintes au DGEQ devant des injustices flagrantes. Membre du Parti vert du Canada depuis sa participation à la 3e Assemblée générale annuelle de l’Aile québécoise du Parti vert du Canada, il a rencontré leurs porte-paroles régionaux, assisté à l’élaboration de leur plan stratégique de campagne et célébrés leurs élections respectives.

À 53 ans, Marc-André a une vaste expérience dans le monde des affaires et de l’organisation politique, actuellement inspecteur immobilier dit « VERT» et de profession courtier immobilier accrédité, il possède en plus une formation professionnelle en plomberie et chauffage avec expérience reconnue, il a été huissier de justice pendant 17 années.

Pour Marc-André Beauchemin, le PVQ est un parti dont l’idéologie n’a pas de frontières, qui, en priorité, respecte le territoire de sa biorégion et qui se doit suivre les règles du DGEQ à la lettre, en tout temps. Le Parti vert du Québec est le parti de la biodiversité et de la justice sociale. Pour nos enfants et nos petits-enfants, Marc-André dit que «oui, le Parti vert a sa place à l’Assemblée nationale. Et il faut le dire, il a sa place à prendre dans la bonne humeur et la bonne entente pour enfin élire un premier député qui fera entrer l’écologie politique réelle par son siège au Parlement de Québec! »

With the support  of his wife and their four kids, Marc-André Beauchemin, wishes to announce that he will be a candidate for the Green Party Leadership race.
Having a Concordia bachelor’s degree in political Sciences, Marc-André was nominated candidate for three municipal élections and also for three elections at the provincial level. Active in municipal demergers, he was a municipal candidate in Saint-Lambert, in Longueuil and in Brossard, in the 2007 and in the 2008 he was asked by the ADQ to run in the provincial election finishing second in 2007 in the La Pinière (Brossard) riding. 

In September 2012, Marc-Andre was asked to run for the Quebec Green Party for the provincial elections and in the same time as being a candidate, he was asked to join in the party organization in recruiting, coaching, and supporting candidates and helping them file complaints with the DGEQ for not being able to file their papers. A member of the Canadian Green Party, having recently participated in the third Quebec wing annual general assembly meeting, he has had a chance to meet with regional spokespersons, assist in the strategic planning campaign and afterwards celebrate with the newly elected representatives. 

At the age of 53, Marc-André has interesting work experience in the business sector, in the political organisations and he likes to be called the ‘Green’ inspector who also is an accredited OACIQ real estate broker, with trade qualifications and experience in the Plumbing and Heating sector. Marc-andré also was a Quebec justice Bailiff executing court decisions and serving legal procedures for a period of more than 17 years. 

For Marc-André Beauchemin, the PVQ is the only Quebec political party for which the ideology holds no boundary but which must respect its bioregional territory and which must also operate in accordance to the DGEQ directives at all times. The Quebec Green Party is about biodiversity and social justice, Marc-Andre intends to achieve his ultimate goal to offer a healthy environment, just and fair where living conditions are good for present and future generations.
