ANNOUNCEMENTS

April 28, 2009 - Spring Concert

The Concert, Symphonic & Jazz Bands will be performing on the Tivoli Stage beginning at 7:00 p.m.  We will have a silent auction starting at 6:00 until the concert begins.  Our Special Guest will be Gary DiSano, 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade President.  He will be speaking on behalf of the Tournament of Roses.

General Admission - $5.00
Reserved Seating - $10.00
Available from any band member or at the door
 

June 5-13, 2009

We will open the festival on June 5 by making a grand entrance through the gates, marching along Chestnut Street and Riverfront Parkway to the Unum Stage where the Jazz Band will perform a 1 hour set of tunes.  Visit www.riverbendfestival.com for more details.

May 9, 2009 (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

Enjoy a day of family fun at the park during this activity.  An old fashioned day of fun and food.
Many actiivities planned to include PONY RIDES, DUNK TANK, CAKE WALK, INFLATABLES,
FACE PAINTING, COTTON CANDY, CONCESSIONS and MUCH MORE.

April 18, 2009 (Rain Date May 2, 2009) - Sponsored by:  Bojangles & Road Rash

Scenic ride through Sequatchie Valley.  Ride begins at SDHS Track/Field. 
First Bike out at 11:00 a.m. and Last Bike out at Noon.
Single Rider - $20.00; Double Rider - $30.00
Lunch provided at the end of the run by Bojangles for all registered riders.
Register at www.sdhsband.org or day of run.

April 4, 2009 - Co-Sponsored by: TVFCU and Slush Puppie

4 Mile Run - $25.00 (includes shirt & goodie bag) - Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - $15.00 (includes shirt & goodie bag) - begins at 8:15 a.m.
Pre-registration forms available at TVFCU (Soddy Daisy Branch) or online at:
www.sdhsband.org or www.chattanoogatrackclub.org
Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. (Harrison Lane & Frontage Road - Soddy Daisy)
Race course starts at Harrison Lane @ Frontage Road, proceeds down Frontage Road
to Thrasher Pike and turns around back to Harrison Lane.
