Khonsu is the god of the moon, moonlight, and time in Egyptian mythology. He was said to gamble time with the Egyptian sky goddess Nut; the goddess Nut beat Khonsu so many times that she added five days to the calendar, called "devil days".
Khonsu's father is Amun, and his mother is Mut.
