The Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry Couture Spring/Summer 2024 Show, named « Schiaparalien », which highlighted a motherboard-like dress (embroidered with Swarovski crystals and microchips), paid tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli’s uncle, Giovanni Schiaparelli (director of Milan’s Brera Observatory), who, in 1877, discovered the canals that were marking Mars’ surface.
