Darryl Marvin Carlton (June 24, 1953 – April 28, 1994[1]) was an American professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He was a first-round selection (23rd overall pick) in the 1975 NFL draft out of the University of Tampa by the Miami Dolphins.[2] He played for the Dolphins (1975–1976) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1977–1979).
