A project answering the question — What if Snakebird had originally been made on a hex grid? Contains many iconic levels from the original game reimagined in hex form, as well as a few originals.
Snakefall is a Snakebird level editor which also adds a few new elements. My best vanilla level is The Flying Dutchman, and best with new elements is the Prison Escape series (see the note for Under Cover). Quite the Obstacle is a fun easy level, and Ogee is also excellent.
Snekburd is an excellent Snakebird fan-game made in Pico-8 by Werxzy. I heavily playtested the game and offered a huge amount of feedback that went into the final result, including UX and level design polish. I designed at least half of the solution to levels 4 7 14 31 34 39 47 *3 *5 W X Y Z (35 48 *2)? and found cheese in or suggested improvements to 28 other levels.
I added the cross block mechanic, levels 34 and 38.
I made major contributions to this collab, including working with clickmazes on the final polish pass, adding mouse input, and levels D6, E3, E4, F1.
A significantly harder version of the infamous What Gophers Go For level 23.
Intricacy is an obscure lock-designing lock-picking puzzle game. Once you understand the mechanics, try my excellent KAR:B, and my game-breaking KAR:C if you dare.
