Canva AI 2.0 is a new way to create with Canva through conversation. Built across Canva’s Visual Suite, it moves beyond one-off prompts and static generations, giving you a built-in creative partner that works alongside you in the editor from first idea to final design. You can start with an idea, then make changes, refine, and evolve your design through conversation — all while staying in control of the outcome.
Imagination becomes the starting point, with AI supporting everything from design to writing to code and more. You can also make precise edits down to individual elements, giving you the flexibility to shape every detail as your work comes together.
You can access Canva AI 2.0 from the Canva homepage or via the Canva AI button in the top left of the editor. This opens a conversational workspace where you can chat with Canva AI, refine your ideas, and make changes to your design in real time.
Canva AI is available to everyone. You can get started with a range of AI-powered tools on Canva’s Free plan, with the option to unlock increased usage and more advanced features on paid plans. It’s designed so you can explore, experiment, and create—whatever your skill level.

Who owns the content I create?
The law is currently unclear on who owns the copyright in AI-generated content.
At present, Canva makes no copyright claim over any content you generate using Canva AI. Between you and Canva, you own the designs you generate with Canva AI, provided you comply with our Terms. In turn, you grant Canva the right to host your AI-generated output on our platform.
Is Canva AI safe to use?
Yes. Canva combines technology, human oversight, and clear policies to create a safe and responsible AI experience.
Can I control AI features?
Teams, Enterprise, and Education account administrators can enable or disable Canva’s AI tools from their Admin Panel.
Are AI results always accurate?
