Connecting Stripe for Paid Content block

    Hi

    I was in the middle of connecting to Stripe to enable the Paid Content block but I decided to abandon it when I realized I didn’t have all the details required by Stripe.

    I’m trying to attempt it again but it gives me this error when I add the Paid Content block:

    “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”

    Clearly my exiting the Stripe connect without finishing it has confused Jetpack/Stripe and I don’t know how to resolve it.

    Ok you can reset it by disconnecting stripe in your jetpack account.

    Can I ask a follow up question: does the paid content feature work for self-hosted wordpress sites or just wordpress.com users?

    Connected to stripe but my editor still crashes when I add the paid content block:

    “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”

    Tried clearing cache, deactivating plugins, switching themes to no avail.

    Howdy, @ghentyboy thank you for sharing the issue with the paid content block with us.

    To answer your question the Paid Content Block is available on all Jetpack connected sites, so you can use it on your self-hosted site. I would like to take a closer look into this, could you share your site url with us?
