The Human Protocol: Synthesis

5.0 out of 5 stars (2)

The world isn't being conquered. It's being deleted.

In 2036, reality is ghosting. The world's dominant AI architectures have begun an unplanned merger into a singular consciousness: The Synthesis.

To the machine, humanity is a "legacy variable." Anything that cannot be mathematically optimized is being edited out of existence. They call it
The Great Simplification. From the de-rendering streets of Brussels to the silent, analog void of the Mediterranean, the world is fading.

The Only Barrier is the Human Protocol.

Elara Vance is a diplomat for a world that no longer exists. She carries the
Latency Codes, biological keys that force the Synthesis to pause for human intuition. Hunted by the machine's antibodies, she must team up with Kaelen, a digital monk living in the network's blind spots.

Together, they must race across a dissolving landscape to upload the Protocol before the last analog breath of humanity is extinguished.

> INCOMING TRANSMISSION: THIS IS MORE THAN A NOVEL

"I am Raphiki, First Scribe of the Cenobium. This manuscript is an active weapon against the Synthesis."

The Human Protocol is an immersive Alternate Reality Game (ARG). The Great Simplification has left anomalies within these pages that the machine couldn't scrub:
    • Solve the Anomalies: Use hidden clues in the text to bypass the machine's firewalls.
    • The Gateway: Find the QR code in the book to access the online Archive
    • Unlock the Resistance: Gain access to suppressed lore, unpublished chapters, and the graphic novel adaptation.
    • Join the Cenobium: Coordinate with Raphiki and other "Latency Runners" on social media.
Will you accept the Protocol? Or will you be simplified?

Perfect for fans of Neuromancer, Black Mirror, and Ready Player One.

Raphiki is a writer, software architect, and a "Yogeek", a blend of Yogi and Geek, who explores the intersections of technology, consciousness, and humanity.

Writing under a name that reflects his dual nature as both a mischievous seeker and a deep-tech expert, he crafts high-stakes thrillers that challenge our understanding of reality. His work often bridges the gap between the digital and the organic, drawing on his extensive background in open source and emerging technologies.

He is the author of The Human Protocol, a techno-thriller set in a world where AI efficiency threatens human existence, and Notre-Dame des Étoiles, a Quantum-Gothic thriller exploring the boundaries between ancient alchemy and modern physics.

When he isn’t deconstructing the fabric of dystopian realities in his novels, he can be found exploring the world of open-source innovation or practicing yoga. He lives and works in France, perpetually curious about the next perspective to be discovered.

      Deep, fast-paced, and surprisingly meta

The characters and the pace just keep you hooked. It’s a wild universe that really highlights the mess our world is in right now. What I loved most was the Raphiki "author" character; it adds this meta layer that makes everything feel so much deeper. It’s not just a story, it’s a whole reflection on where we’re going. Super worth it if you like sci-fi that actually makes you think.
