It was really the "who's who" when it aired and has been dated by the nature of the story. I think as a popcorn drama, it's a good show. It's not something I saw as a drama since some of the lines are kind of cheesy now.

Almost in spite of myself, I kinda like The Mentalist. It's sunnier and more predisposed toward jollity than your usual CBS crime procedural.
