I’m betting €1 million that Paris is the most attractive city in Europe! Yes, this is a love letter. Back in 2020, when every startup was going full remote, we went out and found an office. People thought we were crazy. But we bet that being together was worth fighting for. And it paid off! Today, we’re betting again. We’re betting that we don’t need multiple offices across Europe. We’re betting that Paris has so much to offer that it will convince the best talent to move here. I’m talking about croissants in the morning, natural wine in the evening, decent housing, good weather most of the year — and, of course, the nightlife. This way of life is what we call “le kiff” in French. And Paris has become the capital of it. That’s why we just opened a new 2,200 m² HQ. A former distillery, right on the Canal Saint-Martin. My commitment to the team has always been simple: you show up, and we’ll make sure the environment is worth showing up for. Over the years, I think we’ve delivered on that. Because at Riot we deeply believe that you can’t compete with a team who is having fun. We’re hiring 150 people this year. French, Italian, Spanish, and British. All in Paris.
