  PyCon JP is a conference where Python users, or people interested in Python, gather to learn from each other and meet other members of the community. We will hold PyCon Japan on September 20-24 this year in Tokyo and are looking for talk proposals. We are pleased to announce availability of PyCon JP 2015 tickets. PyCon JP 2015 is the biggest Python event in Japan, consisting of keynotes, talks, dev sprints and tutorials (paid separately). As with every year, we expect the event to be very international. There will be sessions in both Japanese and English. You can purchase the ticket for the main conference (10-11th October) from the below website. PyCon JP 2015 Registration Information Please note that the after party is included in the price. You're all encouraged to connect and network with fellow pythonistas! We have four types of ticket. Business: 15,000 JPY(Early Bird 12,000 JPY) Personal: 10,000 JPY(Early Bird 8,000 JPY) Student with party: 5,000 JPY Student without party: 2,000 JPY We also have Patron Sponsor tickets (20,000yen). Proceedings from Patron tickets will be used to provide discounted student tickets. It is your chance to show your support for the community!

As with every year, we are expecting many international participants to the event, so English talk proposals are absolutely essential. We are now two months away from PyCon JP 2014! Thank you to everyone who have responded to our Call for Proposals. Applications are now being reviewed by the organizing committee and the result will be sent out shortly. We thank you for your patience. We also have a news to share: This year we are introducing poster sessions, in addition to talk sessions. Applications are now open through our website. We strongly feel that communication between participants is the key for the success of Python community and that is why we decided to introduce poster sessions. Smaller audience leads to much deeper feedback and discussions. You may also want to show a hands-on demo rather than giving a presentation. If you've felt that giving a presentation is not the best way to convey your work then this may be the right thing for you. The 4th annual PyCon APAC 2013 will be held at Kogakuin University in Tokyo. The first three events were hosted in Singapore, and this year’s event for the first time in Japan. The schedule is as below. Since we are holding PyCon APAC, which is a conference for the entire Asia-Pacific region, we are expecting many international participants. We are glad to announce that the registration for PyCon Japan is open . You can now buy tickets for the conference/party before the date in case we reach the fixed number. Don't miss the opportunity to meet us. The PyCon Japan 2012 will be in Tokyo from September 15(Sat) to 16(Sun) (2days). There is an English track for foreign developers and keynote speaker is Armin Ronacher . Also, PyCon JP Party will be held at night of Day 1 (September 15). One more opportunity, Sprint Day is September 17(Mon, National holiday) . Everyone can join with no fee the Sprint even if you're not able to attend the conference/party. We are pleased to announce the keynote speaker for PyCon Japan 2012 - Armin Ronacher of Pocoo Team . Armin Ronacher is one of the founding members of the Pocoo Team, a group of enthusiastic Python developers responsible for the Sphinx Documentation Tool, the Jinja2 template engine and more. Recently he developed the Flask micro-framework. He is currently working for Fireteam , a game services company in London. Currently, we are accepting your Call for Proposals until 30 June . There is an English track in PyCon Japan and we are willing to communicate with foreign developers. Send your proposal and join us on this opportunity!
