Can't remember how I landed on it - I was managing skills manually for quite a while. I think I tried another 'skill manager' at some point before I found tessl.

Two aspects I like: skills repository (and versioning, per project), and the easy cli tools to incrementally test and improve my personal skills.

In a world where 'this skill pack will level you UP' bravado abounds, I'm happy that I can use this tool to easily pick out the ones where the author actually tested their skills, and its easy to keep the specific skills I want up to date.

An aspect I haven't explored much, but would love to have is...since the tessl.json skill dependencies are in my repository...if I fire off a remote agent (claude code for web mostly, in my case, but opencode too) it pre installed my tessl deps (including my private repo ones) before tackling the work. I suspect there is a way, just haven't explored...

I've landed on tessl for this

When the Buddhist monks walked through Salisbury in January I saw someone with the same vibe of sign 'protesting.' I was happy to see people giving him lip.

You're describing my car - at 43k, and I am the second owner (bought it with 17k on the odometer). Thus far, its been great. I feel like I'll probably hold onto it for a bit longer.

I read somewhere that its no longer doing meat market stuff after this latest renovation (I recently learned they have a bigger smokehouse, grocery, butchery in Graham)

I've been doing something similar with .note/.spd -> .note -- but it doesn't split out different output path's based on content. I wrote this tool to drive the thing https://github.com/dsummersl/sn2md (I'd love to automate this further though!)

thanks u/rumplestilzken I'll take a look at it!

I kinda love this idea, any plans to add more than just claude's history? My own CLI history is fairly extensive and probably useful, and I hope around between claude/opencode/codex...
