The interior designer’s new Minnesota Street Project gallery sells 200-plus pieces, many first sourced for her famously private clients.
Nicole Hollis, the San Francisco interior designer who’s a go-to hire for major tech names, has set up her first brick-and-mortar location, at Minnesota Street Project in Dogpatch.
Hollis has left her mark on the halls of design-centered locations from Sea Ranch to (opens in new tab)Silicon Valley (opens in new tab), but her client list is famously secret. During Fog Art + Design in 2025, Hollis’ work was celebrated by Scott and Angela Crabill at their estate near the Presidio, which was punctuated by an impressive collection of works by Andy Warhol, Richard Serra, and Yayoi Kusama, among others.
Now, for the first time, you can take a piece of that world home. Or at least a spice grinder.
Nicolehollis Collection carries more than 200 limited-edition pieces across decor, textiles, scents, and tabletop items that the designer has sourced in her 25 years running her interior design brand.
“Many of these pieces have been previously procured for private clients,” Hollis said, adding that she is “honored to make them available to a wider audience.”
The debut exhibition is themed around entertaining and features objects from more than two dozen designers. Later this fall, the space will preview a crystal decanter from Saint Louis — Europe’s oldest crystal maker — and hand-cast bronze bowls from Maison Intègre, a smithery in Burkina Faso.
Hollis is selling solely design objects, whereas most galleries at Minnesota Street Projects focus on fine art. Regardless, the arrival of Nicolehollis Collection could be a warm welcome for San Francisco’s moribund gallery scene, which has seen a spate of closures since mid-2025, including several that were stationed at Minnesota Street Project, including Claudia Altman Siegel, Rena Bransten Gallery, and Jack Fischer Gallery. Hollis takes over the space that was home to Anglim/Trimble Gallery.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Prices, unlike the client list, are available by inquiry.
