When your week opens, your building, if you have one, lights a 'Just Launched' beacon on the map and you sit in the Live feed and the New grid on this page for the full week. That week is when the votes, the first traffic and most of the feedback arrive.
Every listing gets its own indexable URL under /live and a dofollow link to your site. The link does not wait for launch week - it goes live the moment the listing is approved.
New lists the most recently launched projects, newest first. Best ranks by points within each category, and points come from upvotes, views and daily activity.
Within 24 hours, and usually a few. If something is off - a dead URL, a waitlist page - we email you and wait rather than rejecting quietly.
Product Hunt is one daily leaderboard where thousands of products fight over a single front page, and the result is mostly decided by the audience you bring with you. A round here runs a full week, so a product without a mailing list is not off the page by lunchtime. They are not substitutes - launch on both.
Yes. AI and machine learning is the largest category on the map, alongside SaaS & B2B, developer tools, productivity, marketing, design, fintech and web3. The requirement is that the product is real, reachable at a live URL and something a person can actually use - not a waitlist page.

SaaSCity is available in English, German, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese - the map, the submit flow, pricing, the dashboard and the directory guides. Blog articles and the legal pages are English only, and so is what founders write on their listings, which are best written in English since the audience is international.
