The Apple M1 is the best "Single Core" performance in CPU, don't talk about frequency ,the Apple M1(Firestorm) just use 3.2GHz and 15 watts of power to beat Intel i9-12900K and Ryzen 9 5950X in Single Core. According to Geekerwan: 3.2 GHz of M1 =3.85GHz Intel 12th Alder Lake =4.5GHz AMD Zen 3 =4.7GHz Intel 11th Tiger Lake =5.6GHz Intel 10th Skylake That means the best x86 Single Core performance Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake cant beat IPC of Apple M1. And now M2 is soon ...this will be so interesting.

M1 is already beat the Sd888. But M1 Doesn't optimized, Sd888 are fast yet.

Apparently apple doesn't optimize their M series on ipads, thus they have worse performance than supposed to be stronger than the competitors
