Understanding Linktree badges

Learn how verified and notable badges work, and why you might see them on a Linktree.

When you visit a Linktree, you might see a badge next to the profile name or logo. Badges are designed to help build trust and reduce impersonation by highlighting profiles that meet our verification requirements.

Linktree currently uses two types of badges: verified (blue) and notable (gold). Badges are applied based on our predefined criteria aimed at verifying the legitimate, consistent and impactful presence of an individual, brand or organization across major social media platforms shown on their Linktree. Badges can be removed if a profile no longer meets the relevant requirements.

📝 Note: A badge does not mean Linktree endorses a profile or its content, products, or external links. Badges also do not affect how profiles are ranked or discovered on Linktree.

What the blue verified badge means

The blue verified badge indicates that Linktree has verified the account against our requirements, including consistent representation of the individual, brand, or organization across platforms linked from their Linktree profile.
