yummy_gwen will be going on a temporary hiatus until No Doubt begin their album promotion (which will hopefully be within the next few months, but we know how that goes). Both the community and membership will remain open.

As always, you can keep up with all the news with our friends over at Beacon Street Online, as well as via No Doubt's Twitter. Other links and resources can be found on our sidebar.

Once things pick up again, we will hopefully be able to bring back our regular posts, along with Fashion Fridays and our other old community staples. Stay tuned!

Enjoying an evening out together, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were spotted arriving at the Bush Hall in London, England on Sunday (November 20).

The “Hollaback Girl” songstress and her “Glycerine” hubby walked arm-in-arm as they politely smiled for the paparazzi before disappearing inside the venue for a secret Bush performance.

Rossdale, who is currently on tour, recently told UK’s Female First that the worst part about traveling is being away from Stefani.

"It's painful to be away from her, but who has a life without pain? Any guy in a relationship should pinch themselves no matter who they're with and I am no different with Gwen.”

The interviews from the Harajuku Mini launch have been piling up, so here are the ones that have surfaced so far. Gwen talks primarily about the collection, but also talks about the new album.

Racked LA -- When you meet Gwen Stefani in person, it’s almost inconceivable that she’s a mother of two. First and foremost, because she’s smokin’ hot and youthful — no, not like she’s trying to hang onto her 20s, but playfully styled in clothing that’s both age-appropriate but unmistakably Gwen. And the other reason why it’s tough to imagine her as a mom: she’s busy all the time. This weekend, she was the guest of honor at a party to celebrate the release of her latest artistic fruits, the Harajuku Mini for Target kids line.

We spoke with Gwen for a few minutes to find out more about the collab, as well as get her take on the creative process. Check out the photos: she’s in L.A.M.B. from head to toe — and that amazing necklace is coming out in Spring 2012.

What were some of your big inspirations for the kids’ collection?

This collection is mainly inspired by Japanese kids’ clothing, but it’s also a little bit of the things I love from around the world…I’ve been so lucky, as a musician, to travel all over and experience so many different cultures and fashions…like when I finally got to Japan, I felt like I was home. I love Japanese fashion…and so there’s a lot of it in this collection.

Was this collection much different than designing L.A.M.B. or Harajuku Lovers?

Harajuku Mini is a dream come true. Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you see out here with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.

When you were a little kid, did you have one “go to” outfit that you wore forever and ever?

It wasn’t one outfit, but I remember going to the fabric store with my mom and taking clothes apart and sewing things back together. I loved sewing, which I got from my mother, which she got from her mother. My mom made my prom dresses. Then as I got older, instead of the fabric store, it was the thrift store…my room was always strewn with clothes I got from [thrifting trips]. So no, there wasn’t just one outfit.

Since you’re so deeply rooted in Southern California, are you influenced by any other Southern California designers?

I’m not really influenced by Southern California designers, but I am influenced by Southern California. When you look at the collection, it’s very…these pants [holding up the punky plaid pants] are so Orange County, but they’re English, too! And this little jacket [pointing to the one with the animal hood] it’s pure Disneyland.

InStyle -- Gwen Stefani’s new children’s line Harajuku Mini for Target landed in stores this weekend, and the singer celebrated with a party at Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood. Her muses—sons Zuma, 3, and Kingston, 5, Rossdale—joined their multi-tasking mom on stage after a pint-sized fashion show. “I just love kids clothing,” Stefani told InStyle.com. “When I had kids, I was like, ‘Boys? What?’ But I’ve had so much fun dressing them. I love it!” So what has the pre-school set taught her? “They teach me to mind my own business and let them dress how they want,” she said. “They do their own thing. They’re little humans. And it’s fun to be part of it and to watch them.” And they do quite a nice job!

Access Hollywood -- "Everyone asks, ‘Why is it taking so long?’, Cause I have kids! I’m a mom! I have school, homework, you know. It’s a lot. I could never imagine getting up and saying, ‘Okay guys, see you at 10:00 AM, we’re going to work on the record. Who works at 10:00 AM on music? But we have to do that now. I think there is something that’s going to be amazing about this record, because the time, there was no limit, there was no laziness involved, there was no time. Let’s focus now! It’s a different energy cause of that.

“[The band] we are like more in love than we have ever been. It’s crazy, it’s like this friendship that we have. We have this history together since we were kids, and to be able to make a record now is just, it’s like you don’t take it for granted at all. Every minute we spend together is [precious].”

Gwen goes on to talk about the tour, and how the band did it to get inspired, and she mentions that she probably cried every night. “Singing those songs again, looking over seeing my children watching me, and falling asleep to me… just having us all back together again, it was just surreal, and you realized at that moment, this is just so precious. How did this happen to me? How did I get this moment? And that’s when all the songs started coming. We wrote the record over, and over a very long time.”

And when asked if we were getting the album next year, Gwen responded with: “Yes, yes for sure. For sure.”

Belfast Telegraph -- Gwen Stefani’s debut childrenswear line borrows prints “right off costumes” she’s worn in the past.

The stunning star recently launched her Harajuku Mini collection in Target stores. The range, caters for babies, children and tweens and is Japanese anime-inspired.

The brand is Gwen’s first venture into clothing for babies and boys, and was launched off the back of her successful Harajuku Lovers young apparel and accessories collection.

Gwen says the range is true to her fashion roots.

“If you look at the line, it reeks of everything that I’ve worn and done, especially this first collection. I wanted it to be a real condensed version of things that I’ve done in my career and to shrink them down. Actual prints that I’m using are actually right off of costumes that I’ve worn, and you can pull them right up to dresses that I’ve worn and things like that,” she told Style.com.

“There’s really a traditional side to it, because that’s really my style. I’ve always really liked that traditional kind of English schoolgirl type of look, but there’s also an edgy modern thing going on, which is what I have always loved about Japanese culture. You’ve got the deep tradition of Japan and then you’ve got their futuristic modern thing, and I love that whole mix of masculine and feminine. I think this line really has all that in it.”

The 80-piece exclusive collection includes apparel and accessories. Gwen is thrilled with the outcome of her new range.

“It’s just so exciting for me, because now I can do real fashion,” she explained.

“Before it was like, ‘OK, Gwen, you can do a onesie with a character on it.’ But that’s not fashion, you can get that anywhere.”

Huffington Post — Months after the announcement was first made, Gwen Stefani’s kids line finally has a lookbook! And surprise, surprise: the stuff is super cute.

Harajuku Mini for Target, a spin-off of Stefani’s other Harajuku-inspired line, features all sorts of punky, plaid gear for toddlers through tweens. Our favorite: the infant onesies with actual animal ears and tails.

Scandinavian-sounding icy blonde bounces over to introduce herself. “I’m Gwen Stefani’s doubler,” she says. Um, doubler? She’s met with a crowd of confused faces. “I’m her stand-in,” she explains, pointing to the tented spot nearby, where cameras are poised to snap and roll. We’re at the glamourous Cannes Film Festival, waiting for the real Gwen Stefani to return from rocking steady on the Cote d’Azur; the 42-year-old quadruple threat (singer, fashion designer, actress and fragrance creator) is aboard a monster yacht shooting an ad for L’Oreal Paris’s Voluminous False Fiber Lashes mascara. We are supposed to be watching from behind-the-scenes, but we missed the boat — literally.

By the time the yacht squeezes into the harbour , a small crowd has gathered to receive Stefani, who’s wearing a vintage sheer, black cover-up that billows in the Mediterranean breeze. Even squinting against the sun, it’s impossible to miss her cloud of platinum hair — colored and coiffed by her long-time stylist Danilo — and her intense smokey eyes courtesy of makeup artist Charlotte Willer.

As a newly appointed face of L’Oreal Paris — an official partner of the festival — Stefani was flown in to hit the red carpet circuit along with fellow spokesmodels Milla Jovoich, Doutzen Kroes and Laetitia Casta. Last night, Brad Pitt invited her to the premiere of The Tree of Life, which touches on an authoritarian father’s relationship with his three sons. “I was sick afterwards, because I have two boys,” she tells me when I drop by her trailer after lunch. “It was draining.”

She’s been to Cannes before her husband, singer Gavin Rossdale, though it was at the paparazzi-free stage of her career. “At that time in my life, I hadn’t been to that many places,” she says. “It was just such an eye-opening, beautiful experience. It’s pretty rad to be back here.”

But she won’t be able to enjoy it for long. After Cannes, she will head back to a Los Angeles studio to finish No Doubt’s first record since 2001′s Rock Steady. It’s a happy reunion with the band that launched her career in the late ’80s, starting as four ska-loving kids from Orange County, Calif. Then there is the launch of Harajuku Mini, her line of children’s clothing for Target. She’ll also travel to the L.A.M.B. headquarters in Montreal to work on her Spring 2012 collection. Growing up, Stefani wasn’t into labels, and her mother made a lot of her clothes. When they did go shopping, she says, “I’d be like, ‘Can I just have the money and I’ll just go to the thrift store?’” She has her first first designer piece: a Vivienne Westwood corset she bought after No Doubt’s first single, “Just A Girl,” came out.

Stefani becomes animated when talking about fashion and her own collection; she’s deeply involved with the design process, choosing the runway soundtrack, casting the models and working with Willer on the beauty looks. The shows allow her to combine all of her talents and passions: music, fashion, makeup — oh, and family. At the close of L.A.M.B.’s Fall 2011 show in New York, her sons, Kingston and Zuma — who often enjoy the power play dates with fellow high-wattage kids like Maddox and Apple — looked on from the front row with Rossdale. When Stefrani came out for a bow, Kingston jumped on stage to join her.

I’m told on three seperate occasions that Stefani’s personal life is off limits in our interview, but she seems keen to bring it up. When I comment on the nude lipstick she’s wearing — a departure from her signature shade — she revealsthat Rossdale is one of the reasons she gravitates toward crimson. “People are always shocked by it, but a lof of times I don’t wear red lips — last night I wore a fuchsia color. But my husband really likes red, and I’m trying to make him still like me,” she says laughing. “I’m always trying to make that work.”

All of Stefani’s boys are with her on this trip, and the family’s been “doing a lot of fun stuff.” I ask if her makeup is as dramatic on those days; has having kids made her relax a little? “Come on! Gimme a break,” she cracks. “I always get made up, every day. It makes me feel ready to go.

ND Updates Fans On Album Progress

"Dear Friends,
We've been incommunicado for the past few weeks so we wanted to reach out and say hi. Work on the new No Doubt album is well underway and we can't wait to share it with you. The past twelve months have been eventful; we performed for Paul McCartney and President Obama at the Kennedy Center Honors, three beautiful new No Doubt babies were born, and we've recorded in studios all over Los Angeles. Ideally our new record would be coming out this year but it's just not ready yet. We don't want to rush this album just to get it out. This collection of songs means everything to us and our only priority right now is to make sure that it's the best album we can possibly make. There is still more work for us to do...

L.A.M.B. Spring 2012 Collection Showing at NYFW

L.A.M.B. will be showing their Spring 2012 collection today at The Box, NY from 2:30-3:30 PM.
It has been rumored that Gwen may not be in attendance for the showing,
and Essie and Maybelline Cosmetics are both confirmed for styling.

Wow! Thanks to EverythingInTime and our friends at BSO, No Doubt appears in a new photoshoot in the UK's Q magazine alongside an interview given straight from the studio.

From BSO: The article does reveal that “Undercover” was one of the first tracks they wrote after the 2009 summer tour.

Gwen also describes “Easy” as a potential single and “Dreaming the Same Dream” as a “prom song” which we can assume is a ballad.
