In 2023, the Team USA athletes database (Q106273975) moved from TeamUSA.org (archived link) to TeamUSA.com. Both are official websites of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (Q1418438). The athlete profiles at the new website use a different identifier than the former website (see Property talk:P4063 § New athlete IDs and URLs at TeamUSA.org). The following is an example for John Shuster (Q950973):

@Migrant: Browsing through teamusa.com/athletes, I have seen athletes who only competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics (Q8488) such as Chris Barlow or the 1998 Winter Olympics (Q9664) such as Larry Dolan. I even saw an entry for Gretchen Fraser who only competed at the 1948 Winter Olympics (Q9615). It does not have every athlete, but it does have at least 8,242 athletes. Besides Olympians, it contains Paralympians and athletes who only competed in other international competitions, such as the Pan American Games (Q230186). -- Zyxw (talk) 19:56, 27 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
