Motivation
[edit]Yale University's Yale LUX (Q133612457) is a "platform that provides access to millions of records for objects, people, places, concepts, and events represented in Yale’s rich cultural heritage collections." The collections that are brought together are Yale University Library, Yale Center for British Art, Yale Peabody Museum, Yale University Art Gallery, Paul Mellon Centre (UK), Collection of Musical Instruments, Lens Media Lab, Campus Art Collection, and Elizabethan Club of Yale University. Entities include 5,683,846 people and groups, 577,020 places, 13,078,404 works, 17,482,648 objects, 312,240 collections, 158,014 events, and 4,679,830 concepts.
