Introduction
[edit]On October 9th, 2025, Philippe Saade, the AI/ML Project Manager of Wikimedia Germany hosted a webinar on the Wikidata: Embedding Project.
- Combining semantic search, a vector database and a huge subset of Wikidata's knowledge; this project aims to unlock new possibilities in machine-learning and AI development utilising reliable, structured data.
- After a short introduction, Philippe guided attendees through the project's approach and benefits before Lydia and Philippe answered the audience's questions.
