Outlast and Dark Souls are next on my list.

If I remember correctly, Hardcore in DS2 is Survivalist level enemy difficulty with Zealot level resource drops. I ran through Zealot a couple times before jumping into hardcore.

The impossible/hardcore game mode changes between the games. In DS2 you get 3 saves across the entire campaign and fortunately dying only resets you to your last save (unlike 1 and 3, which resets the entire campaign). Chapters 5, 10, and 13 are pretty common save points.

Also don’t waste credits buying every rig and only use 2 tools instead of 4, I like plasma cutter and contact beam (I mostly sell the ammo for credits).

Please don’t make me play that game… hahaha.

What differences are there in the DE (German?) version? Not sure how I’d get ahold of it either

It’s all those achievements it let in here… it’s triggering a completion event!

Congrats! Dead Space 2 is my favorite game in the series and the one I actually started playing first.

The achievements in the remake are nearly a 1:1 copy from the original. There are some new achievements and some old ones that didn’t get included. However, there are two achievements that I was glad didn’t make it into the remake. In the original, there were 2 achievements for completing each ADS cannon scene with >50% hull integrity. I never tested to see if difficulty level impacted the ease/difficulty of accomplishing this, so it’s possible I just gave myself a headache by playing on a higher difficulty than was necessary.
