Thorsten Rodriguez Fernandez has built a funfair layout on a scale of 1:87, which you can experience up close at his exhibitions.
Thorsten Rodriguez Fernandez, a passionate model builder and technology enthusiast, has made a name for himself in the model railway industry. His passion for modelling began at a young age and has continued to develop over the decades. His current long-term project, the funfair layout, is probably an absolute rarity and is well known in the industry. Years of work and patience have resulted in a 16 square metre layout that has its own special flair.
A few more key points of the fairground layout:
- The fairground comprises approx. 40 rides, all of which are in working order, and approx. 100 fairground stalls
- the shops and stalls are powered by 9 transformers with 150 VA each
