  • Framingham Elevator Closure Ongoing
    The elevators at Framingham Station are out of service from Waverly to the pedestrian bridge, until further notice. Passengers who need assistance should go to the intersection of Rts 135/126 to cross the tracks safely.
  • Natick Center Elevator Closure
    Natick Center Elevator 750 (Track 1 to street) is unavailable.
    To exit: Go to the east end of the platform. Take the ramp to Washington St. To board: Go east on North Ave for one block. Turn right on Washington St. Take the ramp to the Track 1 platform.

    Natick Center Elevator 751 (Track 2 to street) is unavailable.
    To exit: Go to the east end of the platform. Take the ramp to Washington St. To board: Go south on Main St. Turn left on South Ave and go one block. Turn left on Washington St. Take the ramp to the Track 2 platform.

  • Wellesley Square Station Issue Ongoing
    There is no accessible path connecting the inbound and outbound platforms at Wellesley Square Station. The existing path includes steep slopes and is long. Designs are underway to provide for a fully compliant pathway.
    There are accessible mini-high platforms at the western end of both the Track 1 and Track 2 sides. However, the existing pedestrian path between the two sides is long and includes steep slopes, especially on the Crest Road bridge over the tracks. Designs are underway to provide for a fully compliant pathway.

    On Saturday, July 4th, for Independence Day, the Commuter Rail will operate on a weekend schedule. Travel will be free on trains scheduled to arrive or depart North/South Station after 8:30 PM. Bikes will not be allowed on board trains after 8:30 PM.

    Travel free on any commuter rail train scheduled to arrive or depart South/North Station at 8:30 PM or after.
