About Cameron Centrum
Cameron Centrum is the most modern shopping and entertainment complex in Cameron Highlands, located in the heart of Brinchang town. It brings together retail shops, food outlets, optical stores, pharmacies and a supermarket under one roof — a significant upgrade from the scattered shophouses that characterised the highlands for decades.
The mall draws both highland residents doing regular shopping and tourists seeking air-conditioning, brand-name goods and a wider dining choice than roadside stalls. It has become a central meeting point for the Brinchang area.
What to Find Inside
Inside Cameron Centrum you'll find a mix of local and chain retailers: grocery outlets stocking highland produce and everyday essentials, fashion and accessories shops, optical chains, pharmacies, mobile phone shops and a growing food & beverage scene ranging from local kopitiam to bubble tea outlets and fast food.
There is also a small supermarket area where visitors can pick up Cameron Highlands' famous strawberry jams, tea packets and highland vegetables as souvenirs or gifts at better prices than tourist-facing market stalls.
Shopping & Retail
From daily essentials to highland souvenirs and fashion — all under one roof in Brinchang.
Retail Shops
Fashion, accessories, mobile phones and electronic accessories from local and national chains. The mall's mix caters to both residents and visitors.
Pharmacy & Health
Multiple pharmacy chains including Watson's and independents. Stock up on medication, sunscreen and personal care products.
Optical Shops
Several optical outlets offering eye tests, prescription lenses and a wide frame selection. Cameron's cool lighting conditions are ideal for getting specs fitted.
Supermarket & Groceries

Food & Beverage Outlets
A growing dining scene inside Cameron Centrum — local kopitiam to bubble tea.
The Food Scene
Cameron Centrum's F&B section has grown significantly in recent years. Expect a mix of Malaysian fast food chains, local Chinese kopitiam, Malay food stalls, dessert shops and beverages. Popular with young locals and families, the food court is lively in the evenings especially during the weekend pasar malam period nearby.
Dining Tips
The basement and ground floor tend to have more affordable local options while upper-floor restaurants skew slightly more upscale. If you're after the best value, explore the kopitiam-style outlets offering local noodles, rice sets and highland tea at reasonable prices.
Location & Getting There
Right in the heart of Brinchang Town — easy to reach from Tanah Rata or Kea Farm.
Getting to Cameron Centrum
Cameron Centrum is located on the main road through Brinchang town — you cannot miss it. From Tanah Rata, drive north on Route 59 approximately 8km. From Kea Farm, it's a 2km drive south. Grab is available between Tanah Rata and Brinchang for those without transport.
Combining with the Night Market
Brinchang's famous night market (pasar malam) runs on weekends and typically starts around 4–5pm. Cameron Centrum is an ideal pre-market stop — browse the mall, grab a snack and then head outside when the market stalls open for the evening.
Planning Your Visit
Best Time to Visit
Weekday mornings are quietest. Weekends and school holidays see the mall busiest — arrive early or after 8pm to avoid crowds, especially at popular food outlets.
Parking
Cameron Centrum has a multi-storey carpark. It fills quickly on weekends. Arrive before 10am or after 7pm for easier parking. Overflow parking is available on adjacent streets.
Souvenirs
The supermarket section stocks highland souvenirs including BOH tea, strawberry products, honey and jam at prices often better than dedicated tourist shops outside. Compare before buying.
Dining Options
The food court on upper floors offers the widest variety. For a sit-down meal with views, check restaurants on higher floors with windows facing the surrounding hills.
