Modern Family Season 4

The Jay Pritchett family is back in the groove in Season 4 of MODERN FAMILY. Big changes are afoot as Jay's gorgeous and much younger latina wife Gloria (Sofia Vergara) is about to make an addition to the family. MODERN FAMILY takes us on a delightful ride through the lives of this blended family. Gay son Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and his partner Cameron (Eric Stonestreet)already have an adopted daughter from Vietnam and are looking to also make an addition to their family. Daughter Claire (Julie Bowen) and her husband Phil (Ty Burrell)continue their antics as parents raising three boisterous kids. Although this blended family never seems to be in agreement, one this is certain - family bonds run strong and their unity and love makes MODERN FAMILY glow.

Gloria and Phil have always been my favorities. Fiery, sexy, and saucy Gloria heats up the screen every time we see her. Lovable Phil is the goofy father that would embarrass any child but his innocence and purity of love for his family makes any of wish we had had a father like Phil. Phil loves Claire but has a harmless secret attraction to Gloria and it is fun to watch them interact. Phil would never cheat on Claire but one wonders what goes through his fantasy mind when around Gloria.

Season 4 centers on Gloria's pregnancy and the impending birth of her and Jay's child. Nothing will be the same for Jay as he turns 65 and is about to be a father. Somehow it will all work out and we always know that. Child prodigy Manny (from Gloria's previous marriage) has formed a strong bond with stepfather Jay. Manny is a teenager trapped in the body of a 50-year old. The three Dunphy kids are still giving their parents joy and grief. The two daughters Haley and Alex follow so many cliches in TV families--Haley is slow-witted, gorgeous and boy crazy while sister Alex is the brains of the family and the never causes a problem kid. It's son Luke (Nolan Gould) who really stands out this season. Quirky and somewaht oafish like his father, Luke has a spark this season. His monotone way of speaking and his vacant eyes are giving away to something special. It will be interesting to see how his character develops as he matures.

MODERN FAMILY is the lovable but annoying family that most of wish we had had. The family is unified in their love and their joy is evident. It's one of the best comedies on TV and a great source of joy and satisfaction for the viewer.

Modern Family: Season 4 continues to deliver the perfect blend of humor and heartfelt moments that fans have come to love. The show's clever writing and well-developed characters keep each episode engaging and fun. This season features some of the best storylines, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and touching family dynamics. If you're a fan of the series, this season won't disappoint. It’s a great addition to any Modern Family collection!

TV feels inundated with sitcoms, but Modern Family manages to rise about most of the crowd with its interesting characters and unique brand of humor. From the opening episode I was hooked, with each of the three families being followed offering a different 'feel' but each being equally funny. The show follows a format of three separate storylines in most episodes, which it usually manages to tie together in the end with some kind of unified theme. It is an interesting format, and the writers have really made it work.

Season 4 is well worth checking out if you were a fan of the previous season. The families manage to grow and adapt just enough to keep their characters interesting, but without hurting the original formula that makes the show work.

It took me a few shows to realize how much I loved these characters. By the time I tuned into them and how extremely funny they are I had missed a few seasons. Now, it's a great binge watch catching up on the old seasons before I watch the current season. Seriously, some hysterical personality stuff.

Even though I do not come from a severely fractured family background this show givess me hilarious insight into how a true supportive, and accepting family could look and laughing all the way.

This show is comedic genius... I am 23, gay and all comedy helps cut the pain or distract, but this just hits home with not just the LGBTQ community, but so many other things, they have does a fantastic job with the vibes of the comedy and the message and the jokes have reached a ton of people.. I am so glad they invented this show, and created this show and that all the cast worked out exactly how it did, because I love each of them as people.. not just as character (while I love them for that too) but have seen the cast and creators in interviewers together and most all individually and I can honestly say I am so happy.. and proud, even though I don't know if that would seem weird to say I am proud as a 23 year old stranger, but as someone who does face depression daily and is gay.. and lives alone for now.. this show truly has been a lifesaver for me.. I am thankful, and I do truly find the comedy in it brilliant, fun, and relaxing. I don't have to recommend it to family or friends (even though I do) but everyone I talk to already gets it (meaning they love it too and get all excited and joyful talking about it)

I adore this show. The characters and the actors who play them never fail to entertain! My only comment is I hope the writers will "tone down" Sofia Vergara's character a bit next season. She is a bit much, and beginning to get on my nerves with the ranting & raving. Would like to see her have some more intelligent interaction with the others.

Other than that small critique, this is BY FAR the best family show on T.V!

I thought the family sit-com had been done to death. But this show is great. The acting, the stories, the camera work, it is all brilliantly down. It is a show about a family, there is the tough old patriarch with a hot young wife and her persnickety son. The old man's daughter who is married to a good natured clown and has three kids. There is her brother who is married to another man with an adopted daughter. This show has everything and the jokes are intelligent.

When I stumble onto a show that makes me laugh, I dig into it further. I like getting full seasons on DVD so I can control what/when/etc. I watch - as much or as little as I want, no commercials, no internet or cable outages to worry about. After seeing just one early episode of 'Modern Family' I was hooked. The Dunphys crack me up, especially Phil, who is hysterical. Every season of this show makes me laugh and also provides some nice insight into the human condition and a good look inside the complex interactions of a multi-generational family. This show does it right, consistently, with outrageous deadpan humor and subtle running gags.

Notre grande famille préférée, est toujours aussi dysfonctionnelle et percutante à souhait dans la résolution de ses problèmes. La dynamique entre tous les personnages est grandement savoureuse et les situations s’enchainent pour notre plus grand plaisir.

Le coffret est un import belge, composé de deux boitiers slim et les 24 épisodes sont répartis sur 3 disques. La qualité est très correcte, niveau image, tandis que l’audio propose bien la Version Française, ainsi que la Version Originale avec Sous-Titres Français, cette dernière étant indispensable selon moi pour profiter au maximum de ce show de qualité, les vraies voix des acteurs apportant une authenticité et un rythme inégalable.

Jay franchit une nouvelle étape en fêtant ses 65 printemps, Gloria, sa femme, lui réserve une surprise qu’il n’est pas près d’oublier et qui les marquera dans leur couple, avec l’aide de Manny, qui reste très cultivé et qui pourrait les aider à franchir une étape indispensable. Cameron et Claire envisagent d’acheter ensemble une maison pour la retaper, alors que Mitchell et Phil ne les en croient pas capables, mais n’osent leur dire. De leur côté, les enfants continuent leurs péripéties : Haley continue à vouloir être avec Dylan, Alex fait une rencontre inattendue, Luke réussit un exploit sportif et Lilly fait le plein de demandes à ses parents, espérant qu’ils cèdent à ses volontés.

Alors que les scénaristes inventent des situations très différentes pour tous les nombreux personnages de la série, les acteurs sont excellents et réussissent à créer une alchimie extraordinaire qui rend chaque personnage attachant et où chaque interaction nouvelle, rend leur lien encore plus fort. C’est un vrai régal. Vivement la suite !

Non spaventatevi... si può impostare in lingua italiana!

E' davvero spassoso per gli amanti di questa serie....avere il cofanetto vuol dire continuare il divertimento finchè non decidi tu di smettere.

I dialoghi e le battute più "maliziose" garbatamente velate, permettono la visione a tutta la famiglia... mia figlia di 10 anni è la prima fan in assoluto.

4ª estupenda temporada de una de las mejores series de la actualidad. Los extras son interesantes aunque no son imprescindibles, las tomas falsas muy graciosas
